About the "Capitol Christmas Tree 2007" project:The first national Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. came from the state of Vermont. This year the State of Vermont wants to "Bring an Old Fashioned Christmas to the Nation" while highlighting all that Vermont has to offer. Vermont is a much loved vacation destination in all seasons; skiing in winter, maple syrup in spring, arts and crafts fairs all summer and of course, the most beautiful fall foliage in the country. In addition to its many natural attractions, Vermont offers an old fashioned home town atmosphere to all who live and work here. Vermonters value quality manufacturing, artistic spirit and the camaraderie of small town life.Visit the Capitol Christmas Tree 2007 website by clicking here!
