This Wooden Snowflake Ornament is designed with the Bentley snowflakes in mind, by Betsy Sylvester of Snowflakes From Vermont, in Derby, Vermont. The first photograph of a single snowflake was captured by Wilson A. Bentley in 1885 in his Jericho, Vermont studio. These great snowflake ornaments have been designed to permanently capture the individual crystals of each snowflake. Other styles of these beautiful, keepsake ornaments are available.

About the "Capitol Christmas Tree 2007" project:

The first national Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C. came from the state of Vermont. This year the State of Vermont wants to "Bring an Old Fashioned Christmas to the Nation" while highlighting all that Vermont has to offer.
